At some point, I have decided to create another account in Facebook solely allotted for my family and closest of friends, so I can have my much needed privacy and freedom of expressing myself without thinking of what other people might say. This proved to be difficult. I have received a lot of friend requests from workmates that I have difficulty turning down because of some other reasons. On the day that I have decided to finally open up to few that I wrote this poem to welcome them.

Maybe today is the day
where my heart meets your eyes,
my soul's exposed for your entertainment
and my secrets are uncovered.
My hands were tied
and my lips were shut
by ridiculous thoughts of baffled imaginations,
that one can easily take from the depths of this unmemorable cave of a head.
But I have managed to keep my mind afloat,
where every fantasies were kept,
maybe the only safe haven
for this heart that really expects.
