Overthinking

In the middle of the night, I cannot sleep.

My mind's busy with so many images -

Words spoken, letters all jumbled, meaningless

This is a very difficult, difficult feeling -

I musn't feel, musn't feel. No, not at all.

Not at all.

Least I want my heart to burn and die within.

I just have to stop this nonsense overthinking.

Close my eyes, shut them tight. Think no more than sleeping.
