Seven Days of Sunrise

I looked upon each morning as if it is the judgement day,
and battled through my blankets hoping for an hour more of sleep.
I haven't seen anything wonderful about the sun,
we have fought a war and it has been well played.

Until a circumstance struck my throat to death,
I lost the battle and finally surrendered my armor.
There is nothing in me that has not been battered.
I failed. I am weak and defeated.

Then your light shown so brightly before me,
Showered me with a glimpse of warmth I haven't felt before
Your touch cradled me back to the ladder,
Hoping and yearning for another dream to reach further.

DAY ONE SUNRISE
 DAY TWO SUNRISE
 DAY THREE SUNRISE
 DAY FOUR SUNRISE
 DAY FIVE SUNRISE
 DAY SIX SUNRISE
DAY SEVEN SUNRISE
