The Wind Sailing

      I am a captain of a ship my father has given me
      long before anybody was able to travel free;
      when his will was to let me drive on the open sea
      feeling the wind as it swirl pass me.

Then, I should know when the wind is right
for my sail to be smooth as it might.
Even if when I reach the light
as I drove the boat on the sea at night.

I should know when my hands touch the dock,
and when I am finally home safe, away from the dangerous shock.
The storm, while on sea, may have put my body at stock,
but I should know that I am now safe
and my heart no longer has a lock.
